News and Blog Updates: April 29, 2008

News Worth Reposting:
Are We Alone - You Animal! New Episode

Headlines From SF News Sites:
Lot's of new postings from the SF news sites since Sunday. io9 has a list of the 20 science books every fan should read, though you may have your own choices. Locus has excerpts from an interview wiht Sarah Monette, and a listing of new books for April (hmm, May is just a day away). I can't belive this, but RevolutionSF has an article on a "Land of the Lost" movie. Sciecne Fiction Awards Watch has three interesting articles, and there are quite a few posts from SFScope including the sad news that "Forbidden Planet" composer Bebe Barron has passed.
