We have lots of news and happenings to tell you about as we head into the Memorial Day Weekend. First off, don’t forget that we will be OPEN regular hours, 630 am - 11 pm, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st. It’s a great day to treat yourself to lunch at Wayward or meet with friends for gaming and try one of our geek-inspired coffee drinks.
With the approach of warmer weather we have new outside tables and chairs with additional seating at which to enjoy the sunshine (that we hope is coming soon!). And inside we have new comfy chairs to go with our comfy green sofa so sitting around talking with friends is now even more comfy at Wayward!
After many requests we have started our own Facebook page! Now you can find out what’s happening at Wayward by following us on Twitter: WaywardCoffee or on Facebook: Wayward Coffee House.
But it wouldn’t be a weekend at Wayward without events and live music. So keep reading!
This Friday, May 28, it’s our second monthly ”Cage-Free Coffee, a motorcycle social” from 6 - 9 pm. Ride down to Wayward and meet with fellow riders as you enjoy tasty coffee beverages and admire an array of bikes. And if you don’t ride yet, come down and ogle the two-wheeled offerings anyway! Rain or Shine!
Friday also features live music from the talented Annemarie Russell from 8 - 10 pm performing indie rock. And on Saturday we welcome Shanti Bremer of The Sweet Lowdown for an evening of live bluegrass and roots music. Come check out these talented performers.
