Wayward - movie night and Satellite by Night returns!

We are excited to have a glorious weekend of sunshine and warmer weather in which to say “thank you” to mothers everywhere in honour of Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 9th. Don’t forget to ring your mum on her special day! And if she’s nearby, bringing her out to Wayward for coffee and treats on this warm sunshiney Sunday is sure to make her happy! Everyone at Wayward wishes all the moms a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Tonight is our “First Friday Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film Night” from 9 - 11 pm. Come down and watch the very first theatrical Star Trek installment with fellow geeks, movie-buffs, and Trekkies! And on Saturday we welcome back the talented Satellite by Night for an energetic evening of live music from 8 - 10 pm.

PLANNING AHEAD: Next weekend is the 15th Annual Greenwood-Phinney ArtWalk! Start your ArtWalk experience by stopping by Wayward for some tasty coffee before strolling along Greenwood on Friday evening (ArtWalk runs 6 - 9 pm) and Saturday afternoon (ArtWalk runs 12 - 5 pm) to peruse the amazing art on display in local businesses for the event. We’ll have live music on Friday with Pint & Dale and on Saturday evening we are hosting the Seattle Published Authors writers group for readings by Antonio Hopson, Angel Leigh McCoy, Pete Mesling, Alicia Winski, and Ramon Esquivel.
