Wayward - country, filk, and Twitter!

Posted on behalf of Wayward Coffeehousee:

We’re on Twitter! Follow us and learn about events, live music, specials and whatever else we come up with! On Twitter we are: WaywardCoffee

It’s a big weekend of entertainment at Wayward with returning performers on both Friday and Saturday. Come join us for great live music and tasty coffee treats and have a warm and melty sandwich!

Friday night we welcome back James Coates and Brian Murray for an evening of country rock. Check out these talented performers and join their growing fanbase at Wayward!

And on Saturday we have the long-awaited return of Vixy & Tony with Betsy Tinney for an entertaining evening of fun and geek-inspired filk music. Come early: their Saturday show starts at 7 pm!

PLANNING AGHEAD: For those inclined to hit the road to the rumble of a motorcycle, next Friday, May 28, is our second monthly ”Cage-Free Coffee, a motorcycle social” at Wayward Coffeehouse from 6 - 9 pm. Ride down to Wayward and meet with fellow riders as you enjoy tasty coffee beverages and admire an array of bikes. And if you don’t ride yet, come down and ogle the two-wheeled offerings anyway! Rain or Shine!

And our live music offerings for Memorial Day Weekend include the indie rock talents of Annemarie Russell on Friday and on Saturday we welcome bluegrass/Americana performer Shanti Bremer of Vancouver BC’s The Sweet Lowdown.
