Saturday, February 9 Workshop: Star Trek: Behind The Scenes (Writing for Science Fiction Television).
Eric A. Stillwell and Lolita Fatjo, script coordinators for Star Trek: The Next Generation, present an informational workshop on writing for sci fi television, taking you behind the scenes of one of Hollywood's most successful franchises. Mary Conley, a writer who worked with them at Paramount Studios will join in a panel discussion about the various steps in the process of selling a script idea, from inception to final draft -- including the verbal pitch, writing story outlines and developing teleplays. Instructor: Eric A. Stillwell with Lolita Fatjo and Mary Conley
Time 9:00 am - Noon Fee: $35 General $30 Student/DIVA Member

These look like a lot of fun, the events cost, but other than transportation to Eugene, they and many of the other classes are inexpensive. Check out their web site, you need to pre register.
