Thursday, June 2^nd at 7:30 P.M.  - My Favorite Restaurant

Please join NWSFS on June 2^nd, 2011, at 7:30 PM at one of Don & Vicki Glover’s favorite restaurants: Tup Tim Thai in Seattle, Washington. The Tup is one of the most long-established Thai restaurants in Seattle and home of (in Vicki’s opinion) the best Thai food  in the area.  Food is served family-style and can be ordered from 0-5 stars in spiciness (and they can provide a spice tray for those who wish to add more).  Though not officially on the menu, Don & Vicki recommend ice cream topped with the Tup’s peanut sauce for dessert (but the sticky rice with mango is yummy, too).

Parking is to be found fairly easily on the street, or there is a pay lot right next to the restaurant.  If you bus it, they are within a couple blocks of several bus routes that serve lower Queen Anne/ Seattle Center West side.

Seating is limited and reservations will be confirmed with the restaurant so we will not be able to accept responses later than the evening of Tuesday May 31^st.

Aug MFR – Join us at one of William’s favorite restaurant.  Date and location TBD.

Aug 15^th  -  Road trip to Worldcon in Reno. The train leaves Seattle Monday, August 15^th.  Worldcon begins Wednesday, August 17^th.

Aug 20^th – Social at Chris McDonell’s home for console gaming.

Sept MFR - Join us at one of Barry’s favorite restaurants, Dorky’s Arcade (Tacoma). Date TBD

Sept 17^th  – Sci–Fi cocktail party social at Barry & Paula Currey’s home. 

Oct  MFR – Join us at one of Shawn & Kat’s favorite restaurants, Lombardi’s Cucina (Issaquah). Date TBD

Oct Social  – Mad Scientist Social at Mike Ormes’ home.   Date TBD
