PCS news for 04-12-2010

Posted on behalf of the Pacific Science Center:

Next week you have the opportunity to meet two very special filmmakers. The first is astronaut Gregory C. Johnson, a graduate of West Seattle High School and the UW. He was a member of the crew that successfully repaired the Hubble Space Telescope, the mission featured in our current IMAX film, Hubble 3D. This scientist captured most of the footage shot in space. Joining him will be filmmaker Toni Myers who put together this amazing film. Both will be on hand at the public showing of Hubble 3D next Thursday, April 15 at 11:45 a.m. They'll also appear at our 21+ event that evening, Science With A Twist. Come learn firsthand how this incredible film came together. Learn More
